From the parking place of the Walserschild pizzeria, take trail marker No. 3 and at about 2040 m leave the larch forest near the Tschie alp. You continue northeast and reach, at 2090 m, the Spilmannsberg huts.
You then enter the Nétschò valley and continue to climb leaving it on the left, at an altitude of 2300 m you cross a stream and continue until you meet the first crossroads at an altitude of 2280 m where you take path 3a leading to Lake Gabiet.
From Lake Gabiet go up the dirt road for a short distance until you reach the Adler's Nest hut, continue to the bridge hotel and go up to the right, past some large stones you will find yourself near a small lake from here you will find trail marker #4 that will take you up to the northeast parallel to the ski slope. When you reach an altitude of 2750 m you leave the wide road and cut right towards the little valley that leads us to the Zube pass.
The trail climbs and after several marked turns it softens, here we find a small stream and after passing a series of plateaus we finally arrive at the Zube pass at an altitude of 2871 m.
