From the car park, cross the bridge and head towards the back of the cable car ticket offices, climbing up the meadows to the left where there are signs indicating the trails.
Follow trail no. 9A, which leads towards Biel, and continue on a slight descent a short distance from the tarmac road. When you arrive near the houses of Biel, cross a small wooden bridge and immediately afterwards take the trail going uphill to the right to the Bettacorfa pass trail no. 9. The trail now climbs up and zigzags through the forest until it comes in sight of a beautiful waterfall, which is crossed by walking over a small stone bridge.
Continue climbing until you reach the plateau where the St. Aanna chapel is located, and from where there is a wonderful view of Monte Rosa. To complete the loop, head towards the arrival of the cable car, and from there take the downhill dirt road, which with many scenic hairpin bends leads back to the cable car station.
